The proposed development would involve the retention of the two and half storey substantial sized Listed Grade II House which will retain a very good size garden and privacy from the road. To the right side of the House, the proposal includes  a new two-storey 3-bedroom semidetached house. This new house would be of contemporary and simple features to avoid undermining the presence of the listed building and would be set back from the street line with some landscape at the front to enhance the presence and the view of the historical building. Part of the proposal is also, at the rear of the site and within the curtilage of the Listed building, the erection of 2 new two storey blocks of flats containing 8 x 2-bedroom flats with amenity, refuse and cycle storage provision and 16 parking spaces in total.
